Hi Team,

Scrabble, the ultimate word game, has seen some intense competition in the round robin stage.

Highlights till date:

  • Dragons (Anil Sharma & Benetto) scoring an ultimate board score of 436; The only team to have scored above 400! They achieved this by scoring a word score of 205 in just 4 minutes 9 seconds!!
  • Centaurs (Praveen Thungana & Yamuna) playing ‘coz’ to score 42 points; Highest score for any word so far!
  • Unbeaten run of Praveen Thungana & Ashesh Gaur. They won all the three games they played. Centaurs owe their final berth to Praveen Thungana.

Centaurs and griffins tie with 6 points each. According to tie breaker rule, centaurs have scored the maximum word score compared to griffins (1257.16 >>>1055.44).

The finals of Scrabble will be conducted on Friday, 21 October 2016, at 4 pm.

Dragons seems to be the unbeatable champions…D-Kitchen…Chess and now fighting the final round for Scrabble….Will they score a hat-trick???

Will Praveen Thungana and Ashesh Gaur remain unbeaten? Will Centaurs succeed in the hunt of glory this time?

It will be more exciting, if it turns out to be a draw. If Dragons and Centaurs win one board each, a single blitz match of 5 mins will be held between one player of Dragons and one player of Centaurs to decide the winner!!
